Pat Clark is our instructor.  He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and  a N.J. Teaching Certificate.  Pat has taught in the public school system for ten years.  He has been playing drums for over 50 years and has been teaching drums for over 35 years.

Pat began playing professionally when he was in junior high school.  He has had the opportunity to perform with such greats as The Shirrels, The Drifters, The Coasters, Ronnie Spector, Vic Juris, Manny Pajaro, Bruce Carbrey, Jim Nyman Paul Russell, Eddie Zee as well as many other great local musicians.

Education is primary.  You will learn to play drums, you will learn all about your instrument, and you will learn about the music industry as a whole.  You will have all the facilities necessary to do whatever you like on the drums.  You will never be told to copy me or to copy someone else.  Develop your own style.  It will work for you!

For lessons call us at 973-334-8591 or email us at
Pat Clark develops  individual programs to suit each students needs.  Our students range in age from 7 years old to 70 years old.  So we have to be very diverse.  Pat has taught hundreds of students over the past 35 years.  Many are playing in School Bands, Orchestras, Jazz Bands, Garage Bands, Ethnic Bands, Rock Bands
etc. Quite a few are playing professionally.

The Drummers Corner is Pat Clark's dream.  Being a combination Drum Shop and Sandwich Shop is quite unique.  It shows that a musician must be willing and able to do something else.  Not every musician can financially support themself or family on music alone.  You must never abandon your dream and love of music.  Music is one of the few things you can do your whole life.  It's fun, and that is what it is all about.

We are also very fortunate to have Bernard "Pretty" Purdie as a guest instructor.  Bernard is the "Worlds Most Recorded Drummer".  He has performed with all the greats, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Steeley Dan, Dizzy Gillespie, Paul Simon and manny many others.  In fact he can be heard on over 4000 cds.  He is a true Master.
